2025 BYD XIA MPV

BYD Xia, a mid-to-large-sized smart flagship MPV, is launched in 4 configurations, with CLTC range of 100km/180km, 2 pure electric range versions, and 4 exterior colors and 2 interior colors available.

As the first MPV of the same name as BYD Dynasty Network's sixth largest IP, the Xia series is equipped with the 5R12V "Eye of God" DiPilot 100 high-level intelligent driving assistance system as standard. It adopts a full-stack self-developed on-board computing platform with ultra-high computing power. The entire vehicle contains 5 high-precision millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 12 high-definition cameras, totaling 29 sensors. It provides a number of driving assistance functions including high-speed navigation, lever changing lanes, smart courtesy to large vehicles, and avoidance of neighboring vehicles. It comprehensively improves driving safety and convenience in multiple scenarios such as highways, expressways, and urban roads, leading a new era of intelligent driving for all.

In order to solve the pain points of MPVs such as long body and difficult parking, Xia is equipped with full-scene intelligent parking assistance, including remote parking, automatic parking, and can observe the surrounding environment through 3D panoramic transparent images.

As a medium-to-large MPV equipped with the fifth-generation DM technology, Xia is equipped with a 1.5T high-efficiency engine dedicated to plug-in hybrid, an EHS200 electric hybrid system and a power-type blade battery dedicated to plug-in hybrid. The comprehensive cruising range with full fuel and full charge is 1,060km, the NEDC fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is as low as 5.3L, and the maximum power of the electric motor is 200kW. It directly addresses the pain points of traditional MPVs such as high fuel consumption, short cruising range and weak power. Medium-to-large MPVs can also be very fuel-efficient.

Xia represents the brand-new design aesthetic of Dynasty. Its appearance adopts the appearance of Chinese dragon, which is inspired by the majesty and agility of Chinese dragon, conveying a majestic, solemn and elegant kingly demeanor. In terms of color, Xia extracts the car color from the traditional oriental artistic conception, providing 4 colors: distant mountain green, Jian kiln purple, smooth jade white and Xuankong black, showing cultural confidence.

In terms of interior, Xia adopts Dynasty's new generation of interior design language and provides two interior color options.

The length, width and height of the vehicle are 5145, 1970 and 1805 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3045 mm. The body length of over five meters provides an extra-large, versatile and super-comfortable luxurious space. The seats are made of Nappa leather, and the middle row of zero-sense ergonomic seats have electric adjustment, ventilation and heating, massage and leg rests.

Xia also offers three seat modes: family comfort, executive luxury and single-person light enjoyment. The industry's first third-row seat can be folded and flipped flat with one button, and the trunk volume is as high as 2036L.

In terms of chassis, Xia adopts front McPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension, and the entire series is equipped with Yunnian-C intelligent damping body control system and Yunnian preview system as standard. Through millisecond-level damping adjustment speed, it achieves a delicate shock filtering effect, no sense of pitch during rapid acceleration and deceleration, and stable control during high-speed cornering.
