Chery iCAR V23 will adopt a front face that pays tribute to BJ 212, such as clamshell hood, round headlight group and other design elements, creating a retro style. However, the round light group and both sides are also equipped with banner-style LED light strips, and LED automatic headlights are standard, which has achieved the integration of retro and technology. The middle is connected by a closed panel, and the "iCAR" letter logo is added, which further enhances the fashionable and avant-garde atmosphere. The protruding bumper at the bottom continues to emphasize the hard-core feeling, and millimeter-wave radars are also equipped at both ends, using L2++ intelligent driving solutions.
The side of the car body adopts the classic "square box" shape, and the straight waistline, flared wheel eyebrows, smoked "pot lid" wheels and side pedals are also similar to BJ 212. At the same time, iCAR V23 also uses a closed panel with the same color as the body between the C/D pillars, and adds the "V23" logo, plus hidden door handles, smoked side vents, etc., continuing to emphasize the fashionable and avant-garde attributes, and providing 6 car colors including orange, black, gray, green, silver and white. The body size is 4220/1915/1845mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 2735mm.
The straight tail shape, side-opening tailgate and external "small schoolbag" storage box enhance the "off-road style" while continuing to take into account the sense of fashion. The rectangular taillights and the prominent rear surround are similar to the design style of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. At the same time, reserved interfaces are added to many parts of the body, and three grille styles and roof racks are optional to enrich subsequent personalized modifications. In addition, the new car offers 19- and 21-inch wheels, approach angles of 42°/43°, departure angles of 40°/41°, wading depth of 600mm, and minimum ground clearance of 200mm/210mm.
Entering the car, a large number of straight lines, thick chrome decoration, A/B column handles and physical buttons/knobs, etc., complement the hard-core appearance. The black, white and green styles plus the yellow decorations further enhance the fashion atmosphere. At the same time, the new car adopts a dashboard-free design, equipped with only a 15.4-inch 2.5K central control screen, equipped with a car system supported by an 8155 chip, and supports wireless CarPlay.
